The Ad List Update, July 15, 2008
So, the first update of the Ad List is complete. I was really happy with some blogs and disappointed with others. Overall the ad list brought me a couple hundred unique visitors for the month. Due to a couple blogs the cost per click wasn’t so good, but this is an experiment, so we shall strive for better results.
My favourite blogs were the ones that did well. The top performer was Click Consultants. A ad there costs only $10 and the CPC came to $0.16. This is great for such a large blog, plus the branding exposure is invaluable. Other honourable mentions go to The Net Fool and DatMoney for having average click costs under $0.40. In this niche that’s not a horrible price, plus as stated before the branding is invaluable.
Now, after this lets go onto the disappointments. There was only one huge disappointment. Infected by Bugs blows for advertising. They charged the most $40 and brought in an average CPC of over $2.80! Oh, not to mention the site is now down (doesn’t exist). The way I see it, that webmaster owes me at least $30 in money back. I am extremely upset with that situation in general. Besides that Yimto didn’t perform as well as expected but compared to Infected by Bugs was a lot better.
This month, I’ll be advertising on Jonathan Volk and TysBlog. In addition to this I will be renewing ads on a couple of the top blogs. Want to suggest a blog for me to advertise on or just see the results? Check out the ad list today!

Sounds good. When I looked at the ad list and saw Infected By Bugs at $40 I was amazed! The owner does owe you about $30 back! Once I finish my advertising page I hope to be on this list.

The owner of infectedbybugs godaddy account was hacked! He just got his domains back a few days ago.
