Weekly update time, aren’t you excited, I know I am! Last week I set these goals:

• 25 RSS readers
• Alexa rank of under 325,000
• Technorati rank of under 575,000
• 750 unique visits to the blog

In terms of hitting these goals, the first is obvious. I did not hit my goal of 25 RSS readers (but fell short at 22). Still it was a drastic improvement from last week. In terms of the Alexa Rank, I exceeded that goal and sit at a rank of 312,456 currently. Technorati wise, I lost a lot of ground and sit at a rank of 705,807 (that will have to be fixed!).

Finally the part I’m really excited about, my unique visits to the blog. This week the blog received 1011 unique visitors! This is over 250 more than my goal. Now that’s some good traffic this small blog, if I may say so myself.

Now, I know you’re all probably all wondering what goals I’ll set this week! Well, I want to hit five more good RSS readers this week. Improve my Technorati, and Alexa Rank. But for the traffic part, the real test is if I can keep it steady. So ill keep the goal the same. 750 unique visits this week.

Finally a bit of income news. This week I made 0.01 cent from referrals, which kind of disappointing. But on the other hand, there is exciting news. I made $15 for a paid (honest) review of a product this week, bringing this weeks earnings up to $15.01. Hopefully this is an omen that the blog is starting to bring in money and I’ll have much more to report in this category next week.
