New Camera, And Some Cool Video Blogs
So, I got a camera. I got a Sony Video Camera (GC1 Net Sharing Cam) yesterday with a bit of the pocket cash I earned from this blog from ads. It is a wonderful camera so far, and I hope to post some videos of happenings and such in a short while. Also I hope this will allow me to take higher quality pictures (The MaxBounty pictures were bad, really bad, so I figured it was time for an upgrade).
I have 6 hours of filming time on this camera and a hour of battery life. While this battery life is short, I have a charger quickly available and easy uploading for the film I take.
I personally am staying away from video blogging at this moment because I feel it is more impersonal and has a slower load time perhaps not allowing all my readers to access the content in the same way. This choice will change later on, when I plan to combine video blogging with my current style of writing.
Video blogging has become more and more interesting as of late. Here are some cool examples of what “interesting” video “blogging” entries I have seen on the web as of late:
ML TV - This is in essence video blogging. MarketLeverage, is a CPA company who I love dearly. They produce segments of “ML TV”. They go through top offers and happenings on these short but info packed segments
Moo Tube - Although this isn’t a “video blog” it is a live line to JohnCow’s life. When he is on, he is streaming live and answers questions, comments and more.
Dot Com Pho - JohnChow films and posts his DotComPho blogger lunch weekly. There are a few glimmers of comedy here, but it is mostly just a bit of a look into the blogger community offline.
There are obviously many more video blogs and bloggers worthy of note, but these are the ones I watch on a semi regular basis because they are entertaining and/or informative.

I prefer video blogs so this is one reader who you are not pleasing by doing text only ;(
I think video is WAY more personal than text.
If you are worried about one or the other, just do both!
@45n5 - I will do so in the future for sure. I find writing to be easier and am not as proficient with a camera as I should be. As I get better you will see more video material on this blog
