Monthly Stats Report, September 2008

September was a good month for Moneybites dot com. Perhaps even one of the best in the history of the website. Without further ado, here are the stats:

Stats

Monthly Unique Visitors: 6,808 Unique Visitors
Old numbers: 5,510 Unique Visitors
RSS: 293 readers
Old numbers: 189 readers
Technorati Rank: 17,094
Old rank: 19,598
Alexa Rank: 79,280
Old rank: 90,438
Monthly Revenue for this blog: $574.91
Ad and review sales: $160
Affiliate commission: $414.91

RSS and Traffic

This month saw a great increase in all fields. My RSS shot up over 100 readers! This is because I turned on the Feedburner Feedsmith Plugin to find all of my readers that may not be accounted for (that alone jumped my feed around 45). Also, all my other stats went in a positive direction. So, I hope to keep that trend up this month and have another amazing month for Moneybites dot com.

Earnings

It was another good month in terms of earnings. I set an new all time record in money brought in from ad and review sales as well as affiliate commissions. For the ad sales, this is due to a general raise in prices while the demand stayed steady. If you are sold out constantly you should definitely think about raising prices. You can always drop them again, and hey you may make quite a bit more ;) MarketLeverage continues to be a top earning in affiliate commissions bringing in nearly all of that $414.91. Once again, this proves the power of passive income from referring people. My earnings goal for next month is to break $600 so, let’s see if I can do it!

Secret Contest Entry

For the current Moneybites contest, there is a secret entry opportunity right now. If you sign up to the Copeac affiliate network using this link and the email address you used in the contest entry. You will receive an additional 5 entries into the Moneybites contest. Entries will be automatically added (As the emails will be grabbed when you sign up). If you haven’t checked out the contest, do so now!

Wow that’s great! An increase on all fronts. If you can keep up this growth you will be an A List Blogger in no time. Very nice income report also!

Good stuff mate! Just a quick question, is your Market Leverage commission mostly ‘referral commission’ ?

I’d like to take that question a step further..Is that just from people signing up through your banner advertisements or have you actively promoted them in a post in the past?

I have done both, they buy that banner ad space, and I have promoted them via reviews because I like them as a company..

Oh cool, that’s nice that they’re buying ad space on some of the smaller blogs, they might buy an ad one mine one day :P

He also promoted them through 2 challenges he had on this site, which is why I signed up through him.

Congrats, Mattaw!

It is good to see progress for bloggers. It encourages all of us to keep moving on.

To add to the questions about Market Leverage, I just recently started promoting, how long have you been with the program?

Hey Mattaw!

Just another question about MarketLeverage.

I signed up with them through you when you ran through affiliate challenges. Do you think you’re going to run more of those so you can reward your refferals and encourage them to make more, in turn making you and ML more?

I’m into Copeac mate!

Even filled out the tax form.

Do we get 5 entries regardless of getting accepted or not?
