Its been done a million times, and honestly, when will people learn, the way to make money online is NOT to follow the leader by marketing a old product. Chances are if you’re following something, its already to late. MoneyMagnet (MLMMagnet) was a great example here. All the people that jumped on a lot later made a fraction of what the first few made. Know why? Because everyone else already has it.
If its not new, marketing it will be expensive, your market will be smaller and your margins will be smaller also. Your product won’t be as attractive as if it was a new market.
Do you know why it is wonderful to be a pioneer is a enterprise? Huge margins. Honestly, when your one of the first ones in you make the most. When the competition starts to move it, you start to see your margins shrink. As soon as those margins get out, people follow and they evaporate.
So how do you get to be a leader? Well there are a few factors that can easily help:
Establish authority: Establish your authority as a leader. Once you have done so, you’d be surprised how fast you hear of new offers in your field. Once you are the leader, marketers want to run all their new products by you. As a result you can possibly learn of the next big thing before it happens.
Keep your ear to the ground: If you do so you’ll probably learn of new developments as they happen. You won’t be a forerunner so to say but you’ll probably learn of them in time to profit from them.
Establish relationships with other leaders: By doing so, you might get the odd tip off of the next big thing. If you have a great relationship with a leader, they might tip you off on the next big thing that comes along that they are excited about.
Practicing any of the above can give you that step up that you may need to get onto the next big thing before everyone else does and make a bundle while you’re at it!

Networking is huge great post.
I’m not sure I follow you Josh. If you mean that network leads to the three factors I discussed you are absolutely right, otherwise I’m a bit lost….
Found your site through StumbleUpon. This is a good article, thanks for the tips.
Koka, good to know, thanks
Hope to see you around the site.
Excellent tips Mattaw. I think the hardest part is establishing a relationship with other leaders. But like you said in your previous post, it doesn’t hurt to ask. (Do I get an “A” for referencing another post?)
You get an A+ actually
Honestly, I’ve grown relationships with a few top leaders with just a simple emails. Most have big ego’s so don’t mind chatting with fans and are actually great guys once you get to know them (no offence intended to the big ego guys).
Hi Mattaw,
Just found your site via your guest post with Tyler. Great article and very sound points.
I subscribed to your feed too. great post, thanks.
Thanks Meatshake. I hope to see you around the site, and thank ou for the kind wishes
YES ! Being unique is the most important thing. After all if your not unique then chances are you will be competing with everyone else.
Competition leads to lower prices. Why would you want to be making smaller margins and splitting a market when if you find something new or are the first one in, you can have higher margins and a bigger market share
Hopefully there are some things that don’t “run their course” and easy to make money off of, regardless of what year it is. There should be some out there. Nothing is absolute.
There are some timeless things and there are inelastic products that always have high demand, you’re absolutely right.
The people who take charge in this world will always make more then people who don’t. That is just a fact.

Granted, but those that get on the train of those people that take charge will still make marginally more than the person who finds out about it and tries to take advantage of it two months later.
