Mac, PC or Other?

A funny video always brightens up my day, so I decided to ask your opinion as well as showing a really good computer parody. I’m curious, what do you guys use a Mac, PC or another type of computer? Let me know with this poll!

Yeah, I’ve seen that video before, pretty funny. I have been using PCs all my life, and have only just recently accepted Macs as a viable second option. I know that a lot of bloggers are making the switch, so its catching on in a big way. I’m going to be interested to see how things play out in 2008.

I have also been using PC’s but also use a mac. I’m pretty split but keep using a PC as a force of habit.

As you said, it will be interesting to see how things go in 2008.

haha…That was pretty funny.

Anyways, I use a PC for the simple fact that I always build my computers, and well, you can’t do that with a Mac. However, I am in the process of making the switch to Linux on my PC, which is (IMO) better than Windows and the Mac OS. LInux and the open source market is really picking up.

Also, there is an application I can run on Linux that still lets me run some of Windows programs, so I can still get some of the features of Windows, but with the security of Linux.

Hmmm, interesting, I don’t think Linux will be able to match the Mac OS or even the Windows OS in the future due to the fact of its open sourceness. That being said, it is a viable alternative, I just don’t personally like it.

I got a Mac PowerBook last October and I am pleased as punch with it. Been working with computers for over 35 years now - still have my PC because the only thing, in my opinion, that Microsoft ever did right was create Publisher - I use that a lot. I have to use a PC at work and it annoys me no end - so slooooow. The only thing with the MAC is you have to buy every single little program - I dumped a lot of their stuff - Safari bites, their mail client bites, so does iPhoto but iTunes is great for converting songs to MP3’s - so quick and easy. Finding stuff on my hard drive - a snap. So many pluses and just a few minuses. I’ll stick with MAC, thank you very much.

Macs are the way to go! Out of 50+ employees, only four of us are on Macs (all 4 of us use a Mackbook Pro)…we NEVER have any issues with blue screens of death, no freezes with new software updates, etc.
It’s so clean, too - the interface is very user-friendly & intuitive! I’ll never go back to PCs!!! :)

@ Broadway - Itunes is wonderful. In terms of windows software it isn’t that bad, but MAC is better for sure. The thing there for me is cost, and as well as that, you have the issue of PC’s being more wide spread which can tilt some peoples opinions..

@ Erick - wow, really, I’m surprised, but yeah, in a few years I’ll get a MAC probably and love it forever :D

Real funny video :) thanks! I’m using PC, though I also used MAC and I liked it very much. I must confess that I’m very enthusiastic about getting MAC in the nearest future :)
