Don’t Let Your Websites Let You Loose Sight Of What’s Important

I want to write about not loosing sight of your basics. I didn’t post today due to having a day with all my family from out of town. Webmastering can take up a lot of time, and I think it’s important to never forget that there are other factors of your life that can not be neglected. It is very easy to sit in a room all day and work on websites but remember to chunk out some time for family and other stuff.

Have fun, go out, remember that there is more to life than work. It is a bit later so this is all I’m going to be posting tonight, but I have a killer post for tomorrow. I met Cory Doctorow from BoingBoing today, and am just cutting together the video now (and no, he isn’t family). It was quite an experience, and I’m quite excited to share a little bit of it with you guys.

Have a good night everyone!

Well said… really there are no rules to blogging or publishing. Many people feel like they have to constantly add and add to their blogs or web sites, while this really isn’t true.

Indeed there are many things that need to come first. :)

that is true .
i remember the first days when i stated my blog ,
i think it was about 3 or 4 days with no sleeping at all

in the 5th day i just crashed and got sick for 3 days ;)

after that i only spend 3 hours daily on the computer and post one post per day or 2 if it’s really my writing mood

Yeah, its all about control. With any new project, I jump into it and work really hard on it, and sometimes this makes me loose track of my other projects. It’s about managing all your projects as well as your personal time.

There are a lot of rich people who have thrown away their life in pursuit of financial gain!
