Backup Your Data Part 2
Computer woes continue here. Right after I got to the beach (I literally sat down in my hotel room to work), my hard drive blew out.
No, this post isn’t me moaning about my ill luck, it is me talking about data backups! The point is, you shouldn’t only keep site backups but backup all your data. Luckily, I back up my data once a day (sometimes more) onto an array of large USB keys, sometimes an external drive or a variety of other methods (whatever works..).
This has enabled me to keep most of my data intact while only loosing about a days work (but a lot of writing 
). So, the moral of this story, back up all your data, and do it frequently.
Stuff happens, that’s just life. You should be prepared for this stuff and be able to bounce back and keep working.
A new hard drive should get to the hotel on Monday, so that’s fine, and they have a business center here so I’m golden

The only art I have yet to perfect is keeping my laptop insynch with my desktop sometimes one gets ahead of the other and then guess what happens when you drag and drop the wrong way… AHHHH.

Update to the last post: I have just purchased an inexpensive 2gb micro thumb drive from walmart for like $10 was a special for back to school. I know have a synch’d copy of my complete hosting directory, all my creatives, products, etc. Best $10 Ive spent in a long time.
