A Afternoon At The CX Digital Offices

Today I headed down to my hometown affiliate company CX Digital (Incentaclick). CX is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where I live and I have a few friends there so I paid them a visit. I only got a few pictures to share but had a great time and they’re definitely a good affiliate network to work with. If you’re interested, you can sign up here.

They are located on the sixth floor of a large office building and have a decent sized office (pictured above). Everyone there seems happy and upbeat. There is a serious air around the place but it’s also laid back and relaxed.

The entrance is quite nice when you come in (pictured above). There is a reception area then the offices are down a corridor. Everything is clean and professional. Basically, it’s just a fairly tidy office place.

I managed to grab a shot of some of the office (as seen above). That is where the affiliate managers sit. Unfortunately most were out at lunch, but a few hard workers were plugging away. Everyone was receptive and nice. CX Digital is full of genuine people that truly want to work for you and this is just one of the reasons why they have become a successful affiliate network.

I also managed to convince my affiliate manager Debrani to let me take her out for lunch (as pictured below). She was in a rush so it was nothing too fancy, but we had a good time. It’s always nice to hook up with the people you work with and really just spend some quality time with them.

I did manage to snap a bunch of pictures of Debrani, but none really turned out besides this one. She’s an excellent affiliate manager and a great person. If you work with her, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

So that was my trip to the CX offices. Have you ever gone to any of your affiliate companies offices? It really is a cool experience and definitely one I plan on repeating with other companies as I had a really great time today.

CX is a great company and I thank them for having me. If you haven’t joined the CX Digital Network, you should probably do so now.

The place looks nice but I’d hate to work in one of those cubical type offices.

Too true, offices that block like that can be bad for communication. They are so blocky if you get what I mean.

Yep, I third this - they just seem to blocked off from everywhere else - u have to just sit there and focus (probably not a bad thing for employers :) )

They’re not in my office, I prefer to work in an open plan workspace, gives the sense of a bit of freedom.

Working from home, office, bar, beach, car, does not matter as long as you feel comfortable and productive.

I think he said they’re an affiliate company, so they earn money through commissions.

I really envy you guys for living in US or Canada and get to do this type of things (visiting your affiliate managers at their office and stuff like that).

I have never visited any affiliate offices before. Seems like a good idea to build an off-line personal relationship with your online business partners. The place does look clean, but cubical life and office work gives me the creeps!!!

I’d like to one day start traveling and doing things like this…Visiting the affiliate offices, going to the conferences, and meeting up with other bloggers…I hate being cooped up in my small town
